It's a very cool pin-up girl.
Th' coloring is especially spiff with th' shoulders like that.
It's kinda like she has a sun burn.

Rock, paper, scissors? How 'bout an ol' fashioned dance-off or poetry slam instead?
1) It's from the mid-twentieth century, the greatest time of humanity. The popularization of the automobile, the dawn of television, microwaves, atomic weapons, and computers. Also, this was a time of war, and come war, come propaganda. WWII propaganda has some of my favorite works of all times, and are genius works of flow, layout, color, and theme.
2) The minimalistic styling, as demonstrated in your background, follows the "KISS" principle. Keep it simple, stupid. Though it's the rising sun on the Japanese flag, it captures my attention and keeps it focussed on the model.
3) It's not freakin anime, and DA has so much anime that I'm suprised Animerica isn't making jokes about it.
Though she's not wearing much, I still like whatever is still on there. Stripes look so great on just about anything, and accentuate curvature very well on female models. The shoes look good too, but personally, I think they may need just a little more contrast in the detailing. Overall, great linework, great coloring, and very novel character creation. *Thoomp* Stamp of approval!
